If you’re looking for that potent, all natural, soothing blend to hit your senses right in the olfactory bulb, then the Ritual of Jing reed diffuser may be the one. Its scent throw is amazing.
Unlike some less-quality diffusers where the scent is too diluted and almost alcoholic, the Rituals range disperse a superior fragrance. With so many committed and returning customers, they obviously have their ingredient ratios spot on.
I used the ritual of Jing in a bedroom and the room filled immediately with a strong sense of positivity and calm. It features Jujube (pronounced joo joob) a fruit native to a region in the Himalayas.
This surprised me, as the fragrance doesn’t have a particularly pungent fruity element, only fresh and uplifting.
An interesting fact – the scent of Jujube supposedly makes teenagers fall in love!
Now I’ve only gone and put ideas into your head. If you really fancy concocting a love potion, you can find Jujube on Amazon I believe. But I digress. The other main scent note is Sacred Lotus, also known as the calming Indian Lotus flower.
Along with hints of citrus and bamboo leaves, the overall effect I would say is soothing and uplifting. With such a lasting and powerful scent, you can’t help but feel the tranquillity it evokes. In fact, if you want it to last longer, you can afford to take out a reed, as I did.
Due to its strength, this did not detract from the consistent and powerful diffusion of the oils. I found myself still fully able to submerge in its tranquillity, and in fact, ended up savouring the experience for a longer period.
